What Is SM REIT
The Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) announced the regulatory framework for SM REITs (Small & Medium Real Estate Investment Trusts) in March 2024. This is a landmark initiative that will enable the retail investors to get partial ownership of real estate properties through Fractional Ownership Platforms (FOPs). The minimum investment requirement is Rs. 10 Lakh per unit. In this way, it opens a new asset class of investment for a large number of retail investors. This also enables the investment in variety of real estate properties which were nearly impossible for the retail investors, such as Hotels, Warehouses, Malls, Office Complexes, Retail Chains, SEZs etc.

CA with 20 years industry experience, he is well versed with accounting, taxations, internal audit, and equity valuation. For various real estate projects, he has been managing investment, cash flow, and revenue.

Secretarial and legal affairs professional with over 20 years of experience. Well-versed with Mergers and Acquisitions, Companies Act, SEBI Act, Banking Regulations, etc. He has exceptional skills of mobilizing funds and handling investor’s relations.
